Our cheeky lil munchkin is nearly 1! What?!?! I know, how CRAZY!!

Some little facts about Aria..

Aria loves her food! She will eat until food comes out of her nose!

She loves the water, bath time is her favourite time of day.. Change time is NOT!

Aria has a favourite brown teddy bear with a green bow. Thanks Margaretta :)

I can now tie Aria's hair in a lil piggy tail. I sit her on the sink and she watches me in the mirror.

Her favourite game is catch me.. Whether we are catching her or she is catching us, it doesn't really matter! She giggles her head off either way!

She loves to pull all the Tupperware out of the cupboard.. At least it keeps her occupied while I cook.

Aria now has 8 teeth! And a fat molar cutting through..

Attitude! That should have been her middle name! She definitely knows what she wants and WILL fight to get it! Oh the fun times we have to look forward too :)

She also pulls a grumpy face when you tell her off and grumbles at the same time.. How do you keep a straight face???

She is now.. WALKING! So amazing, I caught her out last week walking herself from the play pen to the kitchen table. Good girl!

So there you go. We are now looking forward to celebrating her birthday next week :) YAY! So another post won't be far away!

Bali with the In-Laws

Sorry about the delay in my posting!! I couldn't upload any photos.. they were too Big.. Anyways here's a late update from our bali holiday..

We decided to join Rays family on holiday in Bali this Feb. We had so much fun! Aria was a champion flyer and didn't make a fuss at all on the flights! We stayed in beautiful Nusa Dua! Having parents in-law with a time share isn't so bad :) hehe..

We did lots of relaxing and it was great having mum as a babysitter for a few evenings and a day so I could see more of Bali this time!

Not much more to say, seeing as most people have been to Bali, so enjoy these pics :)

Zoom... Where did the time go?!

Hey everyone,
I know it's been ages!! I'm very slack, but I have been face booking a lot! So if you want a constant update just check face book :)

So we are now in the new year.. Ahhh! Scary! Aria is now 8 months old! Time has gone so fast!

At the beginning of December we got to hang out with Sylv and Levi :) it was so lovely to see them both! The time was too short! Love you guys and miss you more!

We enjoyed a lovely Christmas with the whole family. Christmas eve was spent at my Dads house, as usual there was heaps of food and we were stuffed by the end of the night! I hosted lunch for Rays family as well as Krystle and Reece on Christmas day. Much to my surprise everything ran smoothly and lunch was very yummy! Dad H has some photos so I will have to get them off him and post them for you! Then we headed to my Mums for dinner with the extended family. All in all it was a very busy but enjoyable weekend.

We had a small break down south before new years eve with Rinze and Kirsty. We spent a day at Malloy on the Reitsemas boat, Aria was a dream child that day and even slept in our beach tent for her arvo nap! We would have loved to stay longer but we are heading to Bali this Feb so Ray worked through the holidays.

Aria has started swimming lessons (more like splashing lessons). She absolutely loves the water!

I'm getting very excited for Aria's first birthday! Can't wait to start planning!!

The short version..

September 24th, 2005.. Ray and I started dating..

Some time in 2007.. Ray and I purchased a property and started building a house together..

July 19th, 2008.. Ray proposed and I said, 'You got the ring that I wanted!' Followed with a 'YES!'

March 7th, 2009.. We got married!! YAY!

We honeymooned in Phuket Thailand for 10 amazing days and came home to start our life together!

June 2009.. Chevy joined our family!

Early 2010.. We adopted a friend for Chevy.. Kat joined our crew!

One Saturday afternoon in October 2010.. I peed on a stick.. and after 9 months of trying,

and about 25 pregnancy tests later, it was POSITIVE!!

 

June 4th, 2011.. After a 9 and a half hour labour the most amazing miracle..

The Lord blessed us with a healthy baby daughter!

Welcome to the world Aria Grace Huizinga! So wonderful!

 

 

 

  

   

There are so many more wonderful memories that I cherish and we thank our Heavenly Father for blessing us with such beautiful family and friends who have been with us throughout our journey so far!

How time fly's! We thank God for being near to us throughout these very eventful years.

Without Him nothing is possible! And we look forward to what He has in store for our future!
